The Ministry of Agriculture will carry out comprehensive management, and the production, operation and use of veterinary drugs will be more standardized
In response to the current abuse of veterinary antibacterial drugs and illegal veterinary drugs, the Ministry of Agriculture recently issued the "National Five-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Management of Veterinary Drugs (Antibacterial Drugs)". The action plan proposes that through five years of comprehensive management, the standardized breeding rate of livestock and poultry and the healthy aquatic breeding rate will be significantly improved, and the transformation of production methods will be accelerated. The production and operation of counterfeit and inferior veterinary drugs has been effectively curbed, banned veterinary drugs have been basically eliminated, the quality pass rate of veterinary antibacterial drugs has reached over 97%, and the pass rate of veterinary drug residue monitoring of animal products (water-containing products) has remained above 97%.
