GOOD NEWS | SINOPHARM ANIMAL PROTECTION PASSED THE ISO THREE SYSTEM CERTIFICATION AUDIT
After a five-day strict audit by experts from China Quality Certification Center, Sinopharm passed the ISO three system certification audit on August 14, 2022.
ISO three system certification is also known as QES certification, including ISO9001 quality management system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and iso45001 occupational health and safety management system certification. The company takes veterinary drug GMP management as the axis, comprehensively standardizes management, and pursues the optimization of quality, environment, occupational health and safety and safety management. As early as April 2012, the company passed ISO9001:2008 quality management system, ISO14001:2004 environmental management system and OHSAS18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system certification. This certification is to restart the ISO three system certification according to the new standard after the company was completed and put into operation in Wuhan Jiulong new base and obtained the new version of veterinary drug GMP certification. In the second quarter of 2022, the company passed the first stage expert certification audit and completed the rectification.
From August 10 to 14, China Quality Certification Center assigned 8 auditors and 1 technical expert from relevant fields to form an audit team according to the company's application for certification and system operation, to conduct traceability management of the whole production and marketing process of the company's relevant products, management of facilities and equipment operation process, environment, health and safety management, risk and compliance management, procurement and contractor management, Other auxiliary process management was reviewed for 5 days. The audit team has inspected the on-site operations in the inactivated vaccine workshop, diagnostic product workshop, quality inspection room, storage area, solid waste storage area, sewage treatment facilities, air compressor room, air conditioning room and other areas, and conducted strict on-site audits such as document review, record sampling, observation of on-site operations, review of relevant qualification of safety assessment and environmental assessment. During the audit process, relevant leaders and departments of the company cooperated closely, provided audit materials according to the requirements of the audit team, and answered the questions of experts one by one.
After five days of comprehensive review, the audit team fully affirmed the operation of the company's ISO three systems, and considered that the QES management system established by the company meets the requirements of the quality management system, environmental management system and occupational health and safety management system. It unanimously passed and agreed to recommend the company to handle the registration of the three systems certificate.
Qi Shihua, general manager of the company, attended the final meeting and made a statement. He said that it is not the purpose for the company to obtain the ISO three system certification, but the key is to improve management. The company will continue to optimize and standardize various management and promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the company with the GMP management of veterinary drugs as the axis.
